First Against Tthe Wall

What We Need is a "Leash Law" for Terrorists

All the war profiteers peddling patriotic trinkets on television these days are right about one thing, September 11th did change the life of every single American in one way or another. From its effect on television programming to the rise of Bush’s “Homeland Gestapo,” it has proved to be (at vary least) extremely disconcerting for everyone. And, it promises to become even more traumatic for true patriots as a seemingly endless parade of government agencies (both state and federal) continue to jump on the rights-bashing bandwagon, and further dismantle the Constitution in an effort to make life easier for themselves.

The problem is, its not supposed to work this way. In the first instance, I believe that any politician who expresses surprise at the September 11th attacks should be dragged from his office by an angry lynch mob and forced to wear thong underwear. I saw the tape, guys! Osama bin Laden DECLARED WAR on the United States, and stated right up front that he was going to commence to killing Americans. You’re the ones who dropped the ball!

Having studied on this war thing for well over half a century, I believe the way its SUPPOSED to work is that once someone has DECLARED WAR on you, it is perfectly acceptable to kill them BEFORE they kill you. If you ignore them and end up getting blindsided, you have nothing to complain about, because it’s your own damn fault… George.

Accordingly, in future, rather than waiting for one of these clowns to kill a few thousand Americans, I say we try to prevent it. (DUH!) What we need is a sort of “leash law” for terrorists. It’s only reasonable. Countries that can’t keep their fundamentalist whackos on a leash should be the ones to suffer the consequences, not us. Next time one of their cruds declares war on the United States, rather than inconveniencing the American people in any way, we should just commence whompin’ the snot out of both the “host country” (the country where he is ostensibly based) and his “country of origin” (his homeland) right off the bat. I would stress that it is especially important that the “country of origin” be included, because there are rich countries like Saudi Arabia that can afford to send their terrorists to operate out of third-world countries, thereby avoiding responsibility. In short, we do exactly what we did in Afghanistan, except that we do it BEFORE they even get a CHANCE to kill any of us.

However, great humanitarian that I am, I believe that we should give the designated targets (host/origin) a twenty-four hour grace period in which to deliver up the bloody corpse of the offender; but, failing their full cooperation, ARMAGEDDON (just like in Afghanistan).
